Many teachers find that there is one or two children who just do not seem to fit into the early childhood classroom group. They may or may not create behavior management problems. Often, they just do not seem to get as much of their early learning experiences as the other children.
The staff at A Place for Children, Inc. are committed to helping the Early Childhood teacher adapt his/her classroom environment and/or curriculum to better serve those out-of-sync children.
We can tailor this support to fit whatever is needed. Some programs may need weekly support. Some may need occasional question and answer sessions. A needs assessment interview conducted by an A Place for Children staff member and your team or administrator will help you determine your needs.
Some funding is available through Action for Children’s Professional Development funding program.
